Missed this one back in the dog days of mid August: must have been something to do with Ferragosto, or just too hot.

These guys are originally from WA (Western Australia), now based in Melbourne.

Very Aussie Indie Rock sound, with the great voice of Grace-Newton Wordswoth.

A song from an Australian group that comes from Newcastle in New South Wales, just up the road from the NSW Central Coast where I used to live. 

Only have not come across them before.

Great Indie Rock song from this new EP.

'Why Am I Like This?' by Bad Suns

From their Wikipedia page - it's very hot, and I am feeling lazy.

Another great summer song, and this time from California.

Released as a single on 1st August 2025. 

More Australians, only this time a very, very slow song for a hot August night by the beach - even if these guys are from Brisbane and it's the middle of winter down there.

And I sure she sings 'Loving you' rather than 'Loving Me', but anyway.
