"In Purgatory" Released October 16, 2026
It was ‘The Tinman’ that really got me onto to these guys back in early 2025.
That's year I got hooked, and made sure I listened to each of there new releases, like 'Don't Want to Know' soon after in May, then 'Everything Is Coming up Roses' in September.
Having now listened extensively to most all of their songs, yes, it was a bit of a surprise to discovery this is in fact their first full album.
Sure, there were the EP's 'Escape' in May 2024, then 'Mindsnap' from November of the same year. And the EP 'Flag With No Pole' a year earlier, that contained the 'The Tinman’ - if you are going to listen to only one World News song, listen to that one.
So back to the album 'In Purgatory' - did it's production cause them pain? No idea. This album has a number of already released singles, like 'Don't Want to Know', the already mentioned 'Everything Is Coming up Roses' and 'The Way It Goes'.
New ones? Or at least, I never heard them before: 'Frog', 'Classical Music' (it's long, let run, it's worth it), and 'Purgatory'
Great album. Nothing more to say.
